War                                            - 6 -
THE CRADLE & DOCUMENTATION OF HIS VISION: "MEIN KAMPF"
(MY STRUGGLE)
The book was written by Adolf Hitler and Rudolf Hess. He helped writing the book, but not mentioned as an author. The book consists of two parts. The first part was written by Hitler while he was in jail in Landsberg/Lech. He was put in jail after a failed "putsch" in 1926. He wrote the second part after his early release from jail. From 1926 to 1930, both volumes were sold separately; in 1930 both volumes were published as one book. Hitler wanted to unite Austria with Germany. He describes his view of greater Germany and also his future plans for Jews He came to power in 1933 and released some of those plans. This resulted in a genocide known as The Holocaust; the book was given away for free during the time when Nazi government had power in Germany. Giving free: The book was propaganda, and giving it away free was a way of try and recruit members.

THE CONTENTS IN SHORT

Major Issues From The Book:

The definition of the anti-Semitic thoughts in the book. Special care is taken to put Marxism as something very bad. Since it was (allege) Jewish it should be abolished. At the same time the idea of a nationally oriented socialism that where the word NAZI comes from. A war should be between the races not different classes of society fighting against each other. (With this, they wanted to get sympathies from the German workers) Winning a war with Russia would give the people ("Aryan "blood) more "Lebensraum" in the east. According to the book there is not enough space for the Masters. Parliaments are a bad thing to have. So are Democracies. Both should be abolished in favor of a state where one leader should make the decisions. This would be more in the interest of the people'

THE WORLD CAN NOT FORGET!
September 19th, 1939. Poland Invaded by Germany
HOW DID WORLD WAR 2 END?

It ended with the "Unconditional Surrender" of the Axel powers. Germany surrendered on May 8, 1945, a week after Adolf Hitler had committed suicide. Japan was able to hold out for another few months and was preparing for a desperate Invasion of the home island. Atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, 1945 respectively. The surrender was signed on September 2, 1945 aboard the battleship U.S.S Missouri in Tokyo Bay. 'The World took a deep breath and gave thanks" My comment: It was the second war who suppose "END All WARS" A senseless slaughter that set the stage for the bloodiest century in human history.

PERSONAL HISTORY: 1939 to 1945

MOST OF ALL WARS ARE FAILING!
WHY ARE SO MANY PREVAILING?

The feeling I had about Hitler's place in this world became stronger by the day. The memory of our former God was fading away fast. I had to have something to believe in. If it was not the new Leader, you were not worthy calling yourself a German, a son of the Fatherland. The desire to join the Army became stronger. I wanted to be a true German to defend my "Vaterland" (father`), but I was still too young, 11 years young. At that time my parents enrolled me in the Boarding school Institute Hoffman, St. Goarshausen. In 1942, I was relocated to new Boarding school, in Sierk/Mosel, Ellsass/Lorain.

In the summer of 1944, a big groupof us, participated in political rally and military exercises when bad news was announced about the speaker. An assassination attempt was made on Hitler in a bunker on the East front. During a planning meeting with his generals, a group of anti war officers placed a bomb under the big working table, with a timer attached. How anyone could make such an attack on our Leader?? One of the Officers, Mr. Staufenberg was a famous personality. All the involved participants, after a faked trial, were murdered by hanging, heads down, on their feet with steal hooks on their ankles, until there were dead. It occurred many months after the execution films were shown to the public as a deterrent. I personally cried for a long time. I could not understand, that any one, particular Germans do this to our dignified entity. We lost on God. Will this ever end? That's were my thoughts for a long time after.

After we left the meeting, I did what I wanted to do for some time, joining the army. It was not a new idea. I knew that I couldn't save the whole the German army from total defeat. Never was I yearning for involvements in any big fights the battle of the Bulge was nearly over and most of the German army was retreating, including my unit. Moving eastward, on the way to defeat, allied forces chasing us, we stopped for a long rest in my home town village. Asked our officer for a leave and promised to come back in the morning. Arrived at home and my father, mother, Godmother, and sisters welcomed me. I took a nice bath, after I felt as a new born. My feet were bleeding from all this walking, and having no socks, only rags. Next came one of my father's questions which changed my whole life." Where is your unit going when you leave tomorrow morning?" I answered but was very afraid of his reaction. I will stay here and the unit will continue eastward! As long as I`m the master of this family no one will negate on his vows given to his Fatherland. That was the end of all conversation for awhile. I suffered emotionally for many years, but later I asked God, and my father for forgiveness of hating him terrible for many years. After that I felt better...

We walked for a few days toward the east closer to the Russian Army. It was not a good place to have a soft landing. We was hiding in the woods until the American tanks passing right in front of us. Waving our white surrender flags and made the desertion official. The American soldiers waved us to move westwards until we were ordered to participate in an official interrogation. After advised to cutting off our pants (showing that we are young soldiers), we started to go home. Coming Home!

Westwards towards the sunlit took us about 4 weeks to make it home. It was not easy, but we had enough to eat and did sleep with the farmers, which invited us and were good to us. When we finally made it home and entered the familiar surroundings, we were greeted by parents and sisters. All of us were laughing and crying at the same time. Still and all by myself, I said," Thank You Father, Thank you my Friend and my God. I was home and save again."
