A Wisconsin`s Jewel, 1975 Surprise!
My Father (Opa) cashed in on a promise we made at his last Auf Wiedersehen in 1972, to be welcomed in our home at all time. The children in particular loved him very much; he had a great time with his grand children. He informed us at his last visit that to come the next time in the fall/ winter to experience the colder season. The last time he visited in the spring and liked the Wisconsin seasons. We went to Chicago and picked him up, didn`t stop until we reached home which he admired before even entered. At the day of his arrival we talked about planning to go to the Wisconsin Dells, it met his approval. When up there, approximate two hours drive, wanted to show him our permanent camping place in close vicinity of the Dells.

Soon after this trip my Father left as a happy man and talking about more visitations, which naturally we supported again. Driving Opa to Chicagoand were saddened about his departure. Can he, not will he, is the big question at our trip back home.
Will talking to you soon on Pg. # 34. The mystery of South Dakota.
Freedom means the opportunity to be what we never thought We would.

What`s happening at the Office? 1975/80

The boat ride, with seven landing, lead us thru wonderful untouched by man areas of mothers nature display. We crossed a holy place of a local Indian Tribe. Close by in the summer presentation of Indian culture like singing, dancing and performing a theater like show. The highlight this walk is always the leaping of a person or recently by German shepherd's dog at the Standing Rock. This unbelievable show presented to the public sine 1888. The attached Photo shows in actuality the jumps of the Son of the Photograph H.N. in 1888. At the end of our wandering, my Father expressed his liking, never will he forget this wondrous time. After a little treat, we went to our last
stop, before leaving back home, the Campground few minutes away. We were thinking about selling the camper and the property it was standing on, because our children now 19 to 11 years young didn`t show to much interest to continue camping by themselves. On the way home we discussed the issue, Opa participation welcomed, and decided let a go for some more years. It was getting dark by the time we arrived at home; it was in no time that every one safe, sound and happy slept. Many thanks went to heaven to my Friend.
