housing. It took us less than 10 minutes to get there, but needed over a year to complete. There were still minor staining and painting to complete before the inside would be livable. We cheated a little bit to pacify us our self. Neglected somewhat to tell that my job with the D.O.T.did not suffer any because of us being so involved in building a new house. Just the opposite was actual the case. The outside of the house supposed to be Cedar siding which was my Job to complete. It was much easier to complete certain task while living there and the cut down time driving from our first resident to the new house. Nothing done yet on the outside, surfacing front and back. We decided to place the ever fast and greening of actual living grass furnished in manageable pieces; Being Placed on top of prepared topsoil, rolled and watered for at least a few weeks, longer if not growing properly. The property location happened to be close to an intersection and on hilly street, the house, when built much higher then the street level therefore a need for a concrete stoops necessary. Financial resources not available at the time to construct a suitable garage. The interior of the house consisted of a kitchen, a living room to the front, two bedrooms, and a bathroom to the back. The total footage of the house consisted of 900 Square feet, which was at the time medium size. Proud we were. Accomplished what our momentary goal demanded and kept moving on in dreaming and evaluating plan, which would convert them into reality. The thought what could happen if God would bless us with another of his uncountable souls around him.

THE ACTUAL MOVE
Pictured to the right is not the actual way our change in location happened but a depiction or symbolization of our present goal. You have been informed in past WebPages that we did not had to buy additional furnishing, therefore did not have a need for a complete Truck as shown in the attached picture for our planned move. Not everything we moved fitted in our Car, which was a Volkswagen at the time. Neighbors and Friends gave us a kindly hand helping with most missing entities, and babysitting during the actual move. Prior and during our move the Furniture, we bought forwarded to the new location at the appropriated time. After all our belongings moved to the new location, a general clean up performed and thanked the gracious owner, handed over the keys und drove to our new and own house. It still was a house but I knew then already that eventual we would live in our "Home". In the afternoon of the same day we moved into our new

The Guest of honor baptized in the church, which is very close to our new location, by hour Parish Priest a mature servant of God, took care during World War II of our soldiers spiritual needs. It was touching and Soul-lifting experience one should never forget. Close neighbors came over to the house and wanted to see and admire our new member of the Family .All around we did follow Gods advise and had a meaningful gathering with our new friends and neighbors. What consequences could such a nice occasion and gathering of friends actual have? Keep reading. You will be surprised and amazed as I was, to find out. Very truthful I had premonitions in what direction we are going some time ago.

Much conversation alarmed us that the birth of another baby could happen at any time without to much prier warning. It is coming knowledge that mostly everything happen at different time and different ways. It was nice surprise and we are happy that it happen I small house there will be comfort for long. Children will grow fast and if gender plays a big part when children associate together. On the other hand, living in our new house for a year already we noticed more than once that the excising residence could be some bigger, to make a little more comfortable. We talking about it in length investigated the urban part around Waukesha and decided on an area that was distance wise not much further from my Office and shopping possibilities plenty. We Contacted a Real Estate Agent for finding and recommending suitable house. Open House, was common at most places to give a little more knowledge about the inside condition. It took a longer time than anticipated but it paid off. In a very close Subdivision to the City of Waukesha. Located in the Town of Waukesha, self governed and policed. The house is one year old; the selling owner did construct another different style across the street. Our new house is "Trilevel" model with all possible additions or changes possible. It looks and feels that this location could be the eternal dream of mine, to mold it into our so anticipated conversion, house to a home! This time we must have rent a furnishing moving Truck. Our existing furniture, only one year in use, should last a few more years. The new house has many more rooms and additional furniture was needed. We started with a move and ended this Section with a move. I am hopeful that the wandering around will stop awhile and let us do our thing!

JOB HAPPININGS
During the winter of 1959 I spent most of my time in the Waukesha District Office and received additional guidance and training which actual never stopped. I went thru six month of temporary work assignment. .After passing the required essentials the State made a permanent Employee of the State of Wisconsin. A good feeling came over me and I looked forward to a very satisfying relationship for a long time. Good intentions are always go getters to improve your usefulness to your present employer. During the warmer season, which mostly starts in Wisconsin around March, I was assigned as Project Engineer in Training to repaving project, 70 miles from Waukesha. I had to get up early in the morning and came home later in the evening. According to the States guidelines I could have slept in a Motel and go home only on weekends. I took the route for one reason only, to see my Angels at least, twice a day. Most the time I was happy when I left and anticipating when driving home. (Never in all the years when working for the state did had I missed or altered this commitment to my children.) Most of 1959 the project kept me busy and some of my helpers or better coworkers did went out there way to make it very easy and accommodating to the

State. The old Pavement to repaired, primed, and replaced with new surface some times in multiple layers, was standard procedure. Placing the fresh hot Bituminous can seen on the attached Picture. This way of placing Bituminous Pavement is common for many years and most likely will not change much in the future. The length of this particular job was approximate 12 Mile to surfaced in two individual Layers. At the time I supervised this Job acquired a different car which really was not much comfortable than my Volkswagen. The purchasing of a more suitable car not needed at that time. The completion and accepting of the present job with assigning another similar Project in close vicinity terminated my construction involvement for 1959. I moved into the State Office in Waukesha to continue my services.
