My Exposures to Ora et Labora.
Preface.
Very early in my life I had the first contact with the words Ora et Labora, which actual translated means Pray and Work. As little boy I went to Church with my father on Sundays and had to pass the church building before entering. The church erected in the 1200` hundred`s the same year when our little Village start evolving. The image of this church one can find on page # 26. My father did not explain to me the meaning of these two words, because of my young age. Many years after this period of my life I kept interested of the real meaning than, and asked myself do I ever understand the mystery of these words. One event is known of the origin and usage of the words, placed in the middle Age by Monks who occupied the premise for hundred of years. The attached words were more a directive how to behave and by no means to explain the actual meaning of the words, as we know it. It was a typical sad reaction of the times. At this place, I want to point out to you, that most of you will read on this subject are my personal opinions' a summation of many hours, Days and years searches and investigations.
Back in time. (Dark Ages) 800Ad to 1500.
Time started ions ago and with humankind close to the coming of the Roman appearance, some records remain as of today. The reason why this period called Dark Ages lies with the fact, the Church ruled the word with an iron hand. There were no free people, with the exclusions of so-called noblemen or big landowner, who were owned by these people with all there family members. Even history documented cases slavery was not only rampant in other Continent. Even in our Land, the customs of the Dark Ages did not give up easy. If one thinks about it and does a little Soul-searching we have a long way to go to follow Ora, which does not means Praying as the only thing, but any action, thought or word spoken in a positive approach fit `s in the Category of Ora. What has Dark Ages to do with the word Ora? In the prior sentence, the main explanation of Ora most likely never heard or felt. To understand one must know the difference between Ora and Labora. Even when I was a teenager, the Church placed all books not allowed to read on a list to obey The Bible was not to read or studied without a spiritual leader present. Maybe the customs of the Dark Ages are still lingering around. Is there a possibility that No difference exists between the words Ora and Labora? The meaning of Labora little easier to understand; however do not be surprised should your guess, relating to" work, are getting close but not close enough. right images that might relay the thought for you to comprehend. The picture you looking at is a very good depiction of radiating Oneness. The spiritual frame on two sides of the picture looks like protecting the inside of a wooded piece of land, to interpret as the grown seed the result of Labora. This is only one image of this kind, which I selected from many. I do not doubt that the creator of this image had exactly the thought in his mind, as it interpreted. The image shown in the text is a sketch and named "Covenant" That name by its self tells you the

At the lower line, the references in the Bible are posted and very enlightening to read and absorb the constant involvement of God with all his children thru all times. The Arrow in the middle is starting at the beginning of time and leading back thru all the ages to the Creation, to Him. He is the Creator, The heeler, the mood maker and our Salvador, all in one. How can anyone doubt that Happiness/Creativeness (ORA/Labora) is a Unisom!
